The Reactor Engineering School (RES) is looking for an entry level Curriculum and Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Assist in the education of engineers and scientists involved in all aspects of reactor design and Program work.

This rewarding position involves all aspects of curriculum development, student support, and instructor support.

The RES teaches courses at the senior undergraduate level and first-year graduate-level courses in engineering, primarily in mechanical, nuclear, and electrical engineering.

The position requires a strong academic foundation in one or more of these disciplines and the willingness to expand on that foundation.

The ideal candidate will become familiar with the RES curriculum and is eager to continue their education by taking RES courses and possibly pursue a Master's degree under one of the RES affiliated programs.

The position involves assisting in the development of the RES curriculum, including developing new curriculum resources, peer reviews, and testing of computer models used in the education of RES students.

The position also involves assisting in grading of homework and exams.

The position requires the day-to-day support of RES operations, including the setup of the RES Audio-Visual equipment for both in-person and remote learning.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field.
