Job Description

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ColdFusion or Power Platform infrastructure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective communication with colleagues and leadership.
• Experience documenting processes, procedures, configurations, and test plans.
• System administration experience (e.g., Active Directory, Group Policy Management, administration of users and computers).
• Experience with virtual environments, including creation and maintenance of golden images and server virtual machines (VMs).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and log analysis for hosted applications and infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, mission‑focused environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to applying cybersecurity best practices in day‑to‑day work.

Pay Range

• The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations.
