Position Summary
Prepare ingredients and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and preparation checklists.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food quality, equipment temperatures, safety procedures, and professional service standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- The role requires extended standing, sitting, or walking and frequent bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching.
- The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Food Preparation and Cooking
- Portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and checklists.
- Prepare cold foods and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Test food for doneness and monitor quality during preparation.
- Set up and break down workstations and serve food in proper portions and receptacles.
