Role Overview

Responsibilities and Key Tasks

• Find optimal KONE products for non-standard customer needs and select competitive product platforms.
• Coordinate material and service cost inputs and prepare correct costings for non-standard cases.
• Create custom product plans and specifications, including energy calculations and simple traffic analyses.
• Conduct technical site surveys and manage technical order content when responsible for overall project engineering.
• Coordinate product availability and lead times from supply line and local sourcing.
• Ensure proposed products can be installed and account for installation cost and work effort.
• Ensure products meet lifecycle and maintenance needs and resolve deviations from standard maintenance methods.
• Verify compliance with local codes, regulations, safety and environmental requirements, and KONE engineering policy.
• Provide technical content for pre-booking reviews and execute holistic product planning.
• Create layouts, analyze changes, support ordering and documentation, and provide information to project, installation, and maintenance teams.
• Provide technical training to sales, installation, and maintenance teams as needed.
• Contribute to product offering decisions on customization, standardization, and portfolio interfaces.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
• At least five years of elevator industry experience and experience with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in English; Arabic is an asset.
• Strong collaboration, teamwork, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with global colleagues across different time zones, languages, and working cultures.
• Technical understanding of elevator, escalator, and Advanced People Flow solutions is considered a plus.
