Credit Controller (Maternity Cover)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain billing accounts and customer accounts receivable files.
• Collect and allocate payments, dispatch invoices, and complete collection reporting.
• Reconcile accounts, process adjustments, prepare bank deposits, and follow cash-processing procedures.
• Prepare and monitor monthly collection cash forecasts and targets.
• Monitor overdue balances, payment irregularities, and credit limits.
• Perform customer credit checks and identify payment-pattern changes.
• Propose debt write-offs and bad debt provisions.
• Resolve customer queries and communicate through phone, email, mail, or in person.
• Review credit procedures, implement enhancements, support direct payments, and pursue outstanding debts when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, collections, or a similar finance role.
• Experience in a multinational and multicultural environment.
• SAP experience and advanced knowledge of finance software, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic and/or French is advantageous.
• The role does not include supervisory responsibilities.

• The role is located in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai.
