About the Role
Doha Bank seeks a Credit Analyst to provide analytical support in preparing credit proposals and monitoring credit quality for wholesale banking portfolios. The role involves assessing creditworthiness, preparing credit applications, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Prepare credit proposals with appropriate interpretations on financial aspects and identify risk factors
- Ensure Internal Credit Rating and RAROC is carried out for all lending clients and updated annually
- Review credit documents for completeness and identify documentation deficiencies
- Assess credit worthiness by accumulating pertinent information regarding customers
- Liaise with employees for clarifications on incomplete information and ensure applications completed within turnaround time
- Review documentation to ensure alignment with Credit Approvals and credit policies
- Review submission of all required documents for credit processing
- Respond to and escalate requests/queries from internal and external customers and Compliance function
- Coordinate with Risk Management function regarding new/renewal of limits and related aspects
Requirements
- University graduate with degree in Business, Banking, Finance or related discipline
- Master's degree in Management or related discipline is an added advantage
- 5 8 years total experience in financial services/banking industry with responsibilities in credit analysis
- Experience in credit analysis with strong understanding of local banking industry
- Fluent in Arabic and English

Role Objective

- Ensure effective monitoring of credit quality as per internal policies, QCB guidelines and regulatory framework
- Identify, measure, monitor, control and perform periodic reviews of risk inherent in allotted portfolios
