About the Role

- Perform operational activities for FEQ/PT, Bond/PT, and QE transactions in compliance with policies
- Receive, review, and record approved documents for transactions
- Ensure prompt recording of transaction details in pending cases file
- Process rights issue applications from corresponding banks
- Liaise with investment dealers/stock brokers for confirmations
- Assist in reviewing and investigating pending cases due to operational errors
- Prepare periodic/ad hoc reports on section activities
- Perform daily verification and reconciliation of NOSTRO accounts
Requirements
- University graduate in Business, Banking, Finance, or related discipline
- 5 8 years of experience in financial services/banking industry
- Experience in treasury and investment settlements operations in banking
- Master's degree in Management or related discipline (preferred)

Role Objective
- The Investment Officer will assist in processing FEQ/PT, Bond/PT and QE transactions for corresponding banks, in accordance with Doha Bank and regulatory guidelines.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform all operational activities as assigned by the Section Head – Treasury & Investment Operations
- Receive, review and record all documents approved for FEQ/PT, Bond/PT and QE transactions
- Ensure details of transactions are promptly recorded in pending cases file
- Process rights issue applications from corresponding banks
- Liaise with Investment dealers/Stock Brokers for confirmations
- Liaise with employees for rectification of discrepancies
- Keep system and hard copy records of investment proposals
- Assist Section Head in reviewing pending cases due to operational errors
- Contribute to preparation of periodic/ad hoc reports
- Perform daily verification and reconciliation of NOSTRO accounts
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- University graduate in Business, Banking, Finance or related discipline
- Master’s degree in Management or related discipline (added advantage)
- 5 8 years of experience in financial services/banking industry
- Experience in treasury and investment settlements operations in banking
