- Conceptualise and design seasonal collections that align with brand vision and target market
- Research global fashion trends, cultural influences, fabrics, colors, and emerging materials
- Create mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, and digital presentations
- Develop color palettes, fabric selections, trims, embellishments, and garment details
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and design packs for production
- Collaborate with pattern makers, sample makers, merchandisers, and production teams
- Oversee garment fittings and refine designs for fit, comfort, quality, and functionality
- Work with suppliers to source fabrics and trims meeting quality and budget requirements
- Present collections to internal stakeholders, buyers, and industry events
- Stay ahead of market trends and contribute fresh ideas to strengthen brand identity
Requirements
- Proven experience as a fashion designer with a strong portfolio
- Expertise in trend research, mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction
- Ability to create detailed technical specifications for production
- Experience collaborating with pattern makers, sample makers, and production teams
