Role Overview
Qualcomm is hiring design verification engineers to verify high-performance and low-power CPUs in Bangalore.
The role focuses on CPU power-management verification and collaboration across design, software, architecture, SoC, emulation, and FPGA teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Verify boot, reset, clock gating, power gating, voltage and frequency management, limit management, and throttling.
- Develop comprehensive test plans with CPU design and verification teams.
- Use simulation and formal verification methodologies to execute test plans.
- Write checkers and assertions and develop stimulus.
- Verify power intent using UPF methodologies.
- Validate system use cases with system architects, software teams, and SoC teams.
- Enable verification on emulators and FPGA platforms.
- Debug and triage failures in simulation, emulation, and silicon.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field plus 4 or more years of hardware engineering or related experience.
- Alternatively, a master's degree with 3 or more years or a PhD with 2 or more years of hardware engineering or related experience.
- Experience in power-management verification.
