The position focuses on CPU design verification, especially power-management features.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Verify boot, reset, clock gating, power gating, voltage and frequency management, limit management, and throttling.
- Develop comprehensive test plans with CPU design and verification teams.
- Use simulation and formal verification methodologies to execute plans, write checkers and assertions, and develop stimulus.
- Verify power intent using UPF.
- Validate system use cases with system architects, software teams, and SoC teams.
- Enable verification on emulators and FPGA platforms with the emulation team.
- Debug and triage failures in simulation, emulation, and silicon.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four or more years of hardware experience, a master's degree and three or more years, or a PhD and two or more years.
