Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze end to end production costing across multiple manufacturing units
- Track and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) vs actual raw material consumption, identifying variances and inefficiencies
- Analyze raw material cost, activity cost, and operational/production costs
- Monitor expected production vs actual output, identifying shortfalls and performance gaps
- Review daily production data, verify accuracy, and highlight issues such as higher raw material consumption, lower output, process inefficiencies
- Work closely with production teams to collect, verify, and validate production data
- Identify loopholes and cost leakages in production processes and recommend corrective actions
- Drive cost reduction initiatives by controlling material usage and improving operational efficiency
- Maintain and update costing data and structures in SAP S/4HANA
- Prepare detailed MIS reports, variance analysis, and cost performance reports for management
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and standard costing processes
- Coordinate with finance, production, and supply chain teams for data alignment and reporting
Requirements
- 4 8+ years of experience in costing / production cost analysis
- Hands on SAP S/4HANA experience (compulsory) — especially costing, production, and inventory modules
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production costing
- Proven experience in BOM analysis vs actual consumption tracking
- Strong expertise in analysis and cost control
- Advanced Excel skills (mandatory) — data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation
- Experience handling large volumes of production data with high accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Costing, or related field
- Experience in food manufacturing / food processing industry is highly preferred
- Professional certifications (CMA / ACCA – partly or fully qualified) are an advantage

- 4–8+ years of experience in costing / production cost analysis.
- Hands on SAP S/4HANA experience (compulsory) — especially costing, production, and inventory modules.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production costing.
- Proven experience in BOM analysis vs actual consumption tracking.
- Strong expertise in analysis and cost control.
- Advanced Excel skills (mandatory) — data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.

Preferred Background
- Experience in food manufacturing / food processing industry is highly preferred.
- Experience managing costing across multiple production units or plants.
- Familiarity with standard costing, activity based costing, and production KPIs.
