Responsibilities
- Source and procure agricultural commodities such as Wheat, Rice, Sugar, Soybeans, Soybean Meal, Crude Palm Oil (CPO), CDSBO, and other agri products
- Monitor global commodity markets, pricing trends, crop forecasts, weather, freight, and currency movements
- Develop pricing and procurement strategies using futures, hedging, options, and forward contracts
- Negotiate international purchase contracts with suppliers, exporters, and global trading houses
- Manage freight negotiations, vessel chartering, shipping logistics, and landed cost optimization
- Build strong relationships with global suppliers, brokers, shipping companies, and inspection agencies
- Prepare market intelligence reports, procurement forecasts, and risk assessments
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of international agricultural commodity trading experience
- Experience with a leading global commodity trading house or multinational agricultural trading company is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of commodity exchanges such as CBOT, MATIF, ICE, and global agri markets
- Expertise in commodity pricing, hedging, risk management, Incoterms, international trade, and vessel chartering
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and commodity market analysis tools

- We are looking for an experienced Agri Products Trader / Commodity Procurement Manager with a strong background in international agricultural commodity trading and procurement.
