Role Overview
Cloud Eats Kitchen is seeking an experienced Cost Controller with F&B, catering, restaurant, or cloud-kitchen experience.
The role focuses on food and beverage costs, inventory, purchasing, recipe costing, wastage, reporting, and ERP transactions.
Odoo ERP experience is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor food, beverage, packaging, and operational costs.
- Prepare recipe and menu costing and analyze food cost, consumption, gross margins, and theoretical usage.
- Monitor inventory and conduct stock reconciliations and physical stock counts.
- Investigate variances, wastage, spoilage, and discrepancies.
- Review purchasing prices and supplier invoices against agreed rates.
- Monitor portion control and recipe compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, variance, and management reports.
- Reconcile inventory across purchasing, stores, production, and sales.
- Work with chefs, kitchen managers, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.
- Support month-end inventory valuation, financial closing, and accurate ERP cost transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Five years of cost-control experience, preferably in F&B, catering, restaurants, hospitality, or cloud kitchens.
- Strong knowledge of food costing, inventory control, recipe costing, and wastage management.
- Experience with POS and inventory systems, plus good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Odoo ERP experience is an advantage.
- Experience with multiple outlets, kitchens, or production locations is an advantage.
- Qatar or GCC F&B experience is preferred.
