Role Overview
Cloud Eats Kitchen is seeking a Commis 1 with wok cooking experience and knowledge of Asian and Chinese cooking techniques.
The role involves preparing and cooking dishes efficiently while maintaining taste, presentation, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food using wok techniques and standard recipes.
- Operate wok burners, wok stations, and related kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare vegetables, meat, seafood, sauces, noodles, and rice for wok dishes.
- Maintain consistent food quality, taste, portion size, and presentation.
- Follow recipes, cooking procedures, and Chef or Sous Chef instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the wok station and kitchen equipment.
- Store and handle food ingredients properly.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Assist senior staff as required.
Requirements
- Experience with wok cooking and wok equipment.
- Knowledge of Asian and Chinese cooking techniques.
- Ability to prepare ingredients for wok dishes.
- Ability to maintain food quality, taste, portion size, presentation, hygiene, and safety standards.
