About the Role
State Street is seeking a Senior Associate to manage end-to-end post-trade custody operations for the Saudi Arabia market. The role covers securities settlement, cash & FX operational support, corporate actions, reconciliations, and onboarding.

Responsibilities
- Manage settlement processing for Saudi Exchange transactions settling at Edaa
- Reconcile and validate trade/settlement obligations with client instructions and broker confirmations
- Monitor settlement status and manage potential fails
- Manage lifecycle of settlement instructions including amendments and cancellations
- Ensure funding readiness for DvP settlement and perform cash reconciliations
- Process FX related operational activities supporting settlement and client cash requirements
- Manage corporate actions and income events, ensuring accurate entitlements and timely postings
- Support onboarding/account setup and investor identification in Edaa's framework
- Use SWIFT ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 for messaging with clients and market counterparts
- Execute daily controls and checklists, ensuring adherence to local cut offs and internal policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3 5 years of experience in custody/post trade operations
- Strong understanding of KSA post trade flow across Muqassa and Edaa
- Knowledge of T+2 settlement and DvP cash settlement via SAMA
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

About the Role

- Sunday to Thursday work schedule
Key Responsibilities (KSA specific)
- Clearing & settlement operations for Cash Market (Equities/ETFs/Sukuk & Bonds)
- Manage settlement processing for Saudi Exchange transactions settling at Edaa
- Reconcile and validate trade/settlement obligations with client instructions and broker confirmations
- Monitor settlement status proactively and manage potential fails
- Manage lifecycle of settlement instructions in line with Edaa procedures
- Ensure funding readiness for DvP settlement via SAMA
- Perform cash reconciliations linked to settlement activity
- Process FX related operational activities supporting settlement and client cash requirements
- Manage corporate actions and income events
- Support onboarding/account setup and investor identification in Edaa's framework
- Use SWIFT ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 for messaging
- Execute daily controls and checklists on time
Experience & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or above) in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3 5 years' experience in custody/post trade operations (KSA market experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of KSA post trade flow across Muqassa and Edaa
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills, attention to detail, ability to work under strict cut offs
