- Test foods to ensure they are cooked sufficiently
- Monitor food quality while preparing food
- Clean and sanitize kitchen spaces, tables, tools, knives, and equipment

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking by portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards.
- Prepare cold foods.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Test foods to ensure they are cooked sufficiently.
- Monitor food quality while preparing food.
- Prepare and organize food work spaces.
- Portion food into appropriate containers for service.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen spaces, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Check and verify appliance and food temperatures are accurate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: None.
- License or Certification: None
Additional Requirements
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
