Position Information

Food Preparation and Cooking

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, cutting, storing, washing, peeling, measuring, and mixing them.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Prepare cold food items and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test food for doneness and monitor food quality during preparation.

Kitchen Operations

• Organize food work areas and portion and serve food in appropriate containers.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.
• Check appliance and food temperatures for accuracy.
• Perform other reasonable tasks requested by the supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• At least one year of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• No supervisory experience is required according to the source qualification details.

Safety and Work Conditions

• Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Report maintenance and repair needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager.
• Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance and protect confidential information and company property.
• Work may require extended periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
