- Prepare and cook food according to approved recipes and company standards
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
- Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use
- Store food items properly and monitor stock levels
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock using the FIFO method
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Perform other kitchen related duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant, café, hotel, or similar food service establishment
- Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high quality food, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared consistently according to company recipes and quality requirements.
