About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products
- Measure, mix, knead, proof, shape, and bake products according to approved recipes
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality to ensure consistency
- Decorate and finish bakery items as required
- Ensure all bakery products meet company quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery, equipment, and workstations
- Follow food safety, HACCP, and health regulations at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and report ingredient shortages
- Minimize waste through proper production planning and stock rotation
- Assist in developing new bakery products and seasonal items
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to meet daily production requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bakery experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, or commercial bakery
- Good knowledge of bread making techniques, dough fermentation, and baking processes
- Experience with artisan breads, pastries, and laminated dough is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and product quality
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Basic English communication skills
- Immediate availability or short notice period is preferred
- Culinary or Bakery certification is an advantage
- Previous GCC experience is preferred
- Experience working in high volume production kitchens is a plus

Job Summary
