Role Overview
Controls Technical Support Engineer responsible for maintaining chiller plant automation system uptime and automatic operation across data center sites and key customer accounts.
The role provides advanced technical support, field-team guidance, system improvement, and escalation assistance for building controls operations.
Technical Support and Reliability
- Provide technical support for chiller plant automation systems under agreed service-level requirements.
- Support Level 3 and Level 4 breakdown resolution and incident analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Support warranty-site system stability through on-site and off-site technical involvement.
- Provide technical input on obsolete components, upgrades, and replacements.
Quality and Cybersecurity
- Provide monthly quality-improvement feedback to regional and factory teams.
- Review global product notifications and cybersecurity alerts and coordinate corrective or preventive actions.
- Support technical audits and predictive analysis to improve service outcomes and generate maintenance opportunities.
