We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Manager - Service (HVAC & Chillers) to oversee service operations, maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and customer support for HVAC systems and chiller installations.
The role involves managing service teams, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues, maintaining service quality standards, and driving customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives.
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Assistant Manager - Service (HVAC & Chillers) to oversee service operations, maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and customer support for HVAC systems and chiller installations. The role involves managing service teams, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues, maintaining service quality standards, and driving customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives.
Manage preventive maintenance (PM), breakdown maintenance, and annual maintenance contract (AMC) activities for HVAC and chiller systems.
Ensure timely execution of service schedules and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
Monitor service performance, response times, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting HVAC equipment, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, and related systems.
Support service engineers in resolving complex technical issues.
Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines and safety standards.
Lead and supervise service engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
Allocate resources effectively to optimize service efficiency.
Conduct technical training and skill development programs for the team.
Monitor team productivity and performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Handle customer escalations and ensure prompt resolution.
Conduct periodic service review meetings with key customers.
Identify opportunities for AMC renewals, service upgrades, and spare parts sales.
Support preparation of service budgets and resource planning.
Monitor service revenue, AMC contracts, and profitability.
Ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-up.
Control service costs while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies.
Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks for service teams.
Maintain proper documentation of service activities and compliance records.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in HVAC and Chiller Service Operations.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, VRF/VRV systems, cooling towers, pumps, and control systems.
