Role Overview
Support deployment and management of control systems for large-scale AWS data center construction projects.
Work with experienced control engineers to implement Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems.
The role provides training, mentorship, and exposure to mechanical, electrical, and enterprise control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with control-system change orders, scope-of-work adjustments, and vendor deliverables.
- Support BMS and EPMS commissioning, functional testing documentation, and system acceptance.
- Manage points lists, sequences of operation, network architecture diagrams, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate schedules and milestones with program, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Track installation progress, testing completion, and production-readiness milestones.
- Improve control-deployment workflows and maintain training and technical documentation.
Technical Environment
- Work within AWS Data Center Capacity Delivery on electrical and mechanical control infrastructure.
- Control systems monitor and operate HVAC equipment, chillers, air handling units, electrical distribution, UPS systems, and generators.
