Fusion is seeking a highly motivated Controls Engineer to join our Industrial Control Systems (ICS) team.
The Controls Engineer will provide onsite and remote engineering, programming, troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance support for a diverse portfolio of industrial control and building automation systems.
The primary focus of this position will be the development, enhancement, and support of AVEVA Plant SCADA applications and Tridium Niagara 4 SCADA systems.
The Controls Engineer will develop and maintain SCADA graphics, operator interfaces, alarms, trends, tags, scripts, communications, and system configurations in accordance with customer standards, engineering requirements, and established ICS practices.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with SCADA, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), PLC or DDC controllers, building automation systems, industrial networks, and industrial communication protocols.
Manufacturer training for the specific SCADA and PLC platforms will be provided upon hire.
The engineer will work across multiple technologies and facilities, troubleshoot technical issues, and support systems throughout their operational lifecycle.
This position requires an engineer who is self-directed, analytical, detail-oriented, and effective at working in a remote capacity as well as onsite startups and commissioning.
The successful candidate will be able to independently diagnose problems, develop practical solutions, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and take ownership of assignments from initial requirements through implementation, commissioning, documentation, and ongoing support.
