About the Opportunity
Lead the full finance function for the Canadian operation of a privately held global manufacturer of engineered industrial equipment and automation solutions.
The role is the most senior finance seat in Canada and reports to the Vice President and COO.
The Canadian business operates across several sites and consolidates into a German parent with IFRS reporting at year end.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The position is based in Brampton, Ontario and is on-site five days per week.
- The role includes initial visits to Montreal and Vancouver teams, with minimal ongoing travel.
Accounting and Financial Operations
- Own accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, month-end close, accounting procedures, credit policy, collections, and parent reporting.
- Complete consolidated and IFRS year-end reporting for the German parent.
Treasury, Planning, and Reporting
- Lead cash management, cash flow forecasting, investment policy, bank positions, covenants, credit facilities, and borrowing decisions.
