- Initiate, prepare, and chair meetings to resolve disputes and discuss contractual issues
- Plan contract activities including post award schedules
- Perform contract administration duties and participate in post award evaluations
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards
- Maintain accurate records of all contract related documents
- Ensure adherence to contract terms including timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Advise management on contractual matters and strategy for contract modifications
- Serve as coordinator for change requests and review changes prepared by others
- Act as liaison between contractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve issues
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures for financial compliance
Requirements
- 10 15 years of experience in contract management or related field
- Strong knowledge of contract law and legal compliance
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
- Ability to manage disputes and resolve contractual issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with change order management and claims avoidance

What You'll Be Doing
- Prepares and or assists in contractual correspondence with Consultants, General Contractors, and other vendors.
- Initiates, prepares, chairs, attends meetings with differing internal/external parties to resolve disputes and discuss contractual/legal issues and topics.
- Plans contract activities, including post award schedules.
- Performs Contract Administration duties as required and participates in the post award evaluation/negotiations.
- Drafts, reviews, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and project requirements.
- Maintains accurate records of all contract related documents, including amendments, change orders, and correspondence.
- Ensures that all parties adhere to the terms and conditions of the contract, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Advises appropriate Manager on contractual matters and is the principal advisor at the Project level with regard to the strategy for, and the conduct and recording of contract modification/change negotiations, claims avoidance and conflict management.
- Serves as Coordinator of the Change for preparing, processing, reviewing the change requests prepared by others.
- Acts as a liaison between contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve any contractual issues or disputes.
- Identifies potential risks related to contracts and develops strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitors project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial compliance with contract terms.
