Role Overview

  • Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contracts Manager to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for all assigned contract administration functions. You will provide contractual, legal guidance to the project team. Responsible for protecting the company/Client interests in all c

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepares and or assists in contractual correspondence with Consultants, General Contractors, and other vendors.
  • Initiates, prepares, chairs, attends meetings with differing internal/external parties to resolve disputes and discuss contractual/legal issues and topics.
  • Plans contract activities, including post award schedules.
  • Performs Contract Administration duties as required and participates in the post award evaluation/negotiations.
  • Drafts, reviews, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and project requirements.
  • Maintains accurate records of all contract related documents, including amendments, change orders, and correspondence.
  • Ensures that all parties adhere to the terms and conditions of the contract, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Advises appropriate Manager on contractual matters and is the principal advisor at the Project level with regard to the strategy for, and the conduct and recording of contract modification/change negotiations, claims avoidance and conflict management.
  • Serves as Coordinator of the Change for preparing, processing, reviewing the change requests prepared by others.
  • Acts as a liaison between contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve any contractual issues or disputes.
  • Identifies potential risks related to contracts and develops strategies to mitigate them.
  • Monitors project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial compliance with contract terms.
