- Participate in Division, Company, and Corporate strategic planning activities for specific projects (e.g., risk assessment, bid/no bid analysis, business plan development)
- Provide technical guidance to assigned personnel and ensure proficiency and timeliness of contract administration
- Make staffing assignments and reassignments as Company and project needs arise
- Recruit, interview, and evaluate prospective employees; hire, offer personnel development, conduct performance evaluations, counsel, take corrective action, and approve terminations
- Ensure new employees receive orientation in company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Division and project management to ensure proper support in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and administration
- Review requests for proposals to identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy
- Negotiate the more difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with clients
- May represent the Company at government procurement regulatory and policy making committee hearings and at industry association committees
- Maintain active participation in related professional societies to keep abreast of relevant contractual issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 20+ years of prime contract administration experience within a large international engineering and construction firm
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and negotiation of prime contracts
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contracts Manager to join our team!
- In this role you will get to Manage all contract activity for a Division, a major market segment, or for a major project.
- Travel to the client’s offices or to the project site may be required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Participates in Division, Company, and Corporate strategic planning activities for specific projects (e.g., risk assessment, bid/no bid analysis, participation in business plan development, etc.)
- Provides technical guidance to assigned personnel, and ensures proficiency and timeliness of contract administration. Makes staffing assignments and reassignments as Company and project needs arise.
- Recruits, interviews, and evaluates prospective employees. Hires, offers personnel development, conducts performance evaluations, counsels, takes corrective action as required, and approves terminations.
- Ensures that new employees receive orientation in company policies and procedures.

What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and
- Minimum of 20+ years of prime contract administration experience within a large international engineering and construction firm is required.
