- Manage all commercial/contract activity for a multiple package project of significant size
- Represent the Company in negotiations of the most complex contractual issues
- Negotiate the most significant contracts or contract modifications under difficult conditions
- Identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy
- Participate in Division, Company, and Corporate strategic planning activities for specific projects
- Select personnel, make staffing assignments, supervise work to ensure high quality performance
- Provide training and development for assigned personnel
- Maintain active participation in related professional societies
- Keep subordinates updated on resource materials for contract administration and negotiation
Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Typically 15+ years of prime contract administration experience within a large international engineering and construction firm
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and negotiation of prime contracts
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of PC software packages associated with contract administration
- Proven ability to manage and direct work involving complex situations

Education/Experience
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Typically 15+ years of prime contract administration experience within a large international engineering and construction firm.
- MRICS preferred.
Skills/Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and negotiation of prime contracts.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of PC software packages for contract administration.
- Capable of independently negotiating the most complex contractual issues.
- Proven ability for managing and directing work involving complex situations.
