Job Description

  • Parsons is looking for a Contracts Manager to join the team in Jeddah.
  • The role develops, implements, and audits policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Works with Construction Manager(s) and Contractors to ensure standards are maintained and contract terms adhered to.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain working relationship with Design, Construction, Engineering, Procurement and Legal Management.
  • Supervise site measurement team; manage monthly valuations.
  • Agree on valuations and methods of reimbursement with CM/Contractor representatives.
  • Set up and manage site valuation procedures.
  • Implement Configuration Management protocols and procedures; manage directives and variations.
  • Manage final accounts including preparation, submission and agreement.
  • Audit level review and final recommendation of all commercial documentation.
  • Assess contractual implications of site decisions and optimization of practical contract conditions.
  • Compile and scrutinize design deliverables; review Bills of Quantities.
  • Manage claims, advise on all aspects of contractual claims.
  • Avoid Contractors/Consultants claims; assess variations in lieu of claims.
  • Evaluate claims including compilation of effective contemporary records.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) with 20+ years of related program/Contracts management experience.
  • 15+ years of proven experience in Procurement Management under FIDIC conditions of Contract Forms.
  • Extensive hands on experience in FIDIC Contracts within multidisciplinary large scale projects is a must.
  • Minimum 8 years leadership experience managing diverse activities.
  • In depth knowledge of industry standard forms of contracting, procurement procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent command in English language.
  • Expert knowledge and skills relating to contract management and procurement.
