About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and management of project contracts in accordance with applicable contract conditions (e.g., FIDIC) throughout the project lifecycle
- Support the review and interpretation of contract documents, specifications, and project correspondence
- Assist in tracking contractual obligations, deliverables, notices, and key project milestones
- Assist with preparation, review and management of contractual correspondence, notices, and records
- Assist in variations and claims management and procedures, including preparation and maintaining of supporting documentation
- Coordinate with Project, QS, Planning, consultants, subcontractors, and Commercial teams on contractual matters
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and applicable regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
- 1 2 years' experience in contracts or commercial roles within infrastructure or construction
- Familiarity with FIDIC based contracts
- Experience working on infrastructure projects preferred (roads, utilities, marine, civil works)
- UAE or GCC project experience preferred

Role Purpose
- The Contracts Engineer supports the commercial and contractual management of infrastructure projects, ensuring contractual obligations are administered effectively, risks controlled, and entitlements protected.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the administration and management of project contracts in accordance with applicable contract conditions (e.g., FIDIC) throughout the project lifecycle
- Support the review and interpretation of contract documents, specifications, and project correspondence
- Assist in tracking contractual obligations, deliverables, notices, and key project milestones
- Assist with preparation, review and management of contractual correspondence, notices, and records
- Assist in variations and claims management and procedures, including preparation and maintaining of supporting documentation
