Responsibilities
- Manage and administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contractual documents, subcontracts, and agreements.
- Handle day to day contract administration and contractual correspondence with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Prepare, review, submit, and follow up on IPCs for approval.
- Monitor project cash flow and support commercial reporting activities.
- Prepare and manage variation orders or change requests including drafting, review, submission, negotiation, and approvals.
- Handle EOT submissions, claims preparation, evaluation, and supporting documentation.
- Review contractual risks, conduct contract scrutiny, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Support commercial management activities including cost monitoring, claims management, and dispute resolution.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper documentation and contractual compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contracts administration/commercial management within construction or engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and commercial practices
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- MRICS qualification is preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish language is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under deadlines

Context

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- MRICS qualification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish language is preferred.
