Responsibilities
- Oversee all earthwork activities on site including excavation, backfilling, grading, compaction, and site leveling
- Review method statements and shop drawings
- Assist the Construction Manager in managing and directing a team of Surveyor and Inspectors for construction supervision
- Report on progress, safety, financial recommendations, and quality control and design modifications
- Monitor progress of construction against the program and take steps to ensure the program is achieved
- Ensure project quality control procedures are used for supervision work and monitor for improvement
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering, construction supervision, or execution of railway projects
- Relevant experience in earthworks, roadworks, and traffic management on railway projects
- Proven experience in supervising construction activities, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards
- Familiarity with temporary traffic management, road diversions, reinstatement works, and coordination with local authorities and stakeholders
- PMC experience, supervision consultant, or Engineer role is preferred

Context

Missions/Main Duties
- Reviewing method statements and shop drawings.

Profile/Skills
