Responsibilities
- Administer pre and post contract activities for roads and infrastructure projects
- Prepare and manage contractual correspondence such as notices, claims, variations, and EOT submissions
- Evaluate, analyze, and support negotiation of contractor and consultant variations, claims, and change orders
- Monitor contract performance, commercial risks, and key obligations; maintain contract registers
- Assist in preparing and reviewing tender documents, scopes of work, special conditions, and procurement packages
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, cost control, and site supervision teams for contract administration
- Provide contractual and commercial advice to project teams
- Draft clear, accurate contractual and commercial letters
- Maintain and update correspondence logs, internal registers, and tracking tools
- Support preparation of claims and related documentation on behalf of the Engineer
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 12 years' experience in large infrastructure projects
- Experience in roads and infrastructure projects
- Consultancy experience preferred
- Knowledge of pre and post contract administration
- Good oral and written communication skills

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Contracts Engineer to manage and administer contracts on major roads and infrastructure projects, ensuring commercial and contractual aspects are properly controlled, documented, and delivered.
What You'll Be Doing
- Administer pre and post contract activities for roads and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and manage contractual correspondence—notices, claims, variations, and EOT submissions.
- Evaluate, analyze, and support negotiation of contractor and consultant variations, claims, and change orders.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

- Knowledge of pre and post contract administration.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
