About the Role
Aon is hiring a Consultant-level Pension Systems Requirements Analyst to join their Pension Administration Solutions team. The role involves working with Product Owners, developers, testers, and clients to define and document technology solutions for pension administration platforms.

Responsibilities
- Identify, define and review client requirements, including numbered examples, for integration into Aon’s administration solutions
- Document end to end functional requirements and user journeys for applications, member self service web portals, data interfaces, calculations, and reporting
- Conduct gap analysis between client requirements and available solutions and propose system and process options
- Lead or facilitate requirements workshops involving both external customers and company teams
- Understand administrative procedures and processes, challenge them where appropriate, and translate them into efficient system behaviour
- Develop and update requirements documents including plan provisions, data, web self service functionality, workflow functionality, personal communication for members, and reports
- Work closely with developers, system architects and quality assurance teams to clarify requirements and support solution design
- Review testing strategy to ensure all requirements are covered and test plan is carefully detailed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, math, engineering or equivalent work experience in a systems/business analysis or similarly analytical area
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or product analyst on technology projects (ideally in financial services, insurance or pensions)
- Experience documenting functional and non‑functional requirements for system applications such as workflow/case management applications and/or customer self‑service web platforms
- Solid experience with system implementation or upgrade projects (requirements, specifications, test support, managing updates)
- Ability to model processes and data flows using standard tools/methods (e.g., process maps, user stories/use cases, data dictionaries, interface specifications)
- Solid grasp of SDLC and collaboration with development and QA teams (e.g., agile or hybrid methodologies)
- French / English bilingualism is required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
