Responsibilities
- Provide technical input and consultation on fire and life safety systems for complex projects
- Prepare design submissions, calculations, and Fire & Life Safety Strategy reports
- Support verification of designs and installations compliance with Saudi and international codes
- Assist with audits, site inspections, and compliance reviews
- Support fire risk assessments and hazard analyses, and develop mitigation strategies
- Assist with integrated testing and commissioning of fire and life safety systems
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, clients, and government authorities
- Mentor and guide junior and graduate consultants
- Contribute to bid submissions and proposals
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or related discipline
- 8 years of experience in fire life safety/protection engineering consulting
- Knowledge of UAE building codes, international codes, and standards (SBC, IBC, NFPA, BS)
- Experience in fire protection design, fire detection and alarm systems, smoke control systems, risk assessments, and compliance audits
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Pursuing professional license/certifications (PE, CEng, CFPS) are highly desirable

Job Description
- WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Consultant / Senior Consultant – Fire & Life Safety to join the team in the UAE.
- The role involves providing Fire & Life Safety consultancy services for complex and large scale projects across the region.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing technical input on fire and life safety systems.
- Prepare design submissions, calculations, and Fire & Life Safety Strategy reports.

Qualifications
