Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions
- Perform elective and emergency pediatric orthopaedic surgeries
- Manage complex cases including deformity correction, spinal conditions, and limb reconstruction
- Provide specialist consultations for referred pediatric orthopaedic cases
- Collaborate with Pediatricians, Neurosurgeons, Rehabilitation Specialists, and Radiologists
- Ensure optimal pre operative, operative, and post operative care for pediatric patients
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and training of junior medical staff
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree
- Specialization in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Proven Consultant level experience in Pediatric Orthopaedics
- Tier 1 Qualification (mandatory requirement)
- DOH License / Eligibility or equivalent UAE licensing is an advantage
- Experience in tertiary care hospitals or specialized pediatric orthopaedic centers is highly preferred

- A prestigious government healthcare client in the Abu Dhabi Region is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Physician – Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery (Tier 1 Qualification) to join its advanced pediatric surgical team.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a senior specialist with expertise in pediatric musculoskeletal disorders, trauma, and complex reconstructive orthopaedic surgery in children within a leading tertiary care environment.
Key Skills
- Expertise in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery (Tier 1 Qualification required)
- Strong experience in managing Congenital Limb Deformities, Scoliosis, and Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH)
- Proficiency in Pediatric Trauma Management and Fracture Fixation Techniques
- Experience in Complex Reconstructive Orthopaedic Procedures in Children
- Knowledge of Growth Plate (Physeal) Injuries and Growth Disorders
- Strong multidisciplinary collaboration in pediatric surgical teams
- Excellent surgical precision and decision making in complex cases
