Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of proctological and colorectal conditions
- Perform surgical and non surgical interventions for anorectal diseases
- Conduct minimally invasive procedures for hemorrhoids, fistulas, fissures, and related disorders
- Manage pre operative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Work closely with Gastroenterologists, Radiologists, Anaesthesiologists, and Rehabilitation Teams
- Provide specialist consultations for complex surgical referrals
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and preventive care
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior surgeons and support medical education programs
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree
- Specialization in General Surgery
- Fellowship / Board Certification / CCT in General Surgery / Colorectal Surgery / Proctology
- Proven Consultant level experience in Proctology or Colorectal Surgery
- DOH License / Eligibility or equivalent UAE licensing is an advantage
- Experience in tertiary hospitals or specialized surgical centers is highly preferred

- Advanced expertise in Proctology and Colorectal Surgery
- Strong experience in managing Hemorrhoids, Anal Fissures, Fistulas, Pilonidal Disease, and other anorectal conditions
- Proficiency in Minimally Invasive Surgical Techniques and Laser Proctology Procedures
- Expertise in diagnosing and managing Rectal Bleeding, Constipation, and Pelvic Floor Disorders
- Strong knowledge of Postoperative Care and surgical complications management
- Excellent patient counseling and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
