About the Role
A government healthcare client in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Consultant Physician in Pediatric ENT to join their specialized pediatric surgical team. The role involves diagnosing and managing pediatric ENT conditions, performing surgeries, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric ENT conditions
- Perform elective and emergency ENT surgical procedures in pediatric patients
- Manage complex airway, ear, nose, and throat disorders in children
- Provide specialist consultations for referred pediatric ENT cases
- Collaborate with Pediatricians, Audiologists, Speech Therapists, Anesthesiologists, and Surgeons
- Ensure safe perioperative care including pre and post operative management
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to teaching, training, and supervision of junior medical staff
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree
- Specialization in ENT / Otolaryngology
- Proven Consultant level experience in Pediatric ENT
- DOH License / Eligibility or equivalent UAE licensing is an advantage
- Experience in tertiary care hospitals or specialized pediatric ENT centers preferred

Job Overview

Key Skills
- Expertise in Pediatric ENT (Otolaryngology)
- Strong experience in managing Airway Disorders, Tonsillitis, Adenoid Hypertrophy, and Otitis Media
- Proficiency in Pediatric ENT Surgical Procedures including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and ear surgeries
- Experience in managing Congenital ENT abnormalities and complex pediatric airway cases
- Strong knowledge of Pediatric Hearing Assessment and Audiology Interpretation
- Ability to manage emergency ENT cases in children
- Excellent multidisciplinary collaboration skills
