Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage children requiring rehabilitation and long term functional support
- Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life
- Work closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Neurologists, and Orthopaedic Specialists
- Monitor patient progress and adjust rehabilitation strategies as needed
- Manage cases involving developmental delays, brain injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and complex disabilities
- Provide family education and counseling regarding rehabilitation goals and long term care
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary case reviews
- Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to education and training programs
- Ensure adherence to clinical governance, patient safety, and hospital quality standards
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree
- Specialization in Paediatrics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or equivalent
- Fellowship / Board Certification / CCT in Paediatric Rehabilitation or related subspecialty
- Proven Consultant level experience in Paediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
- DOH License / Eligibility or equivalent UAE licensing is an advantage
- Experience in tertiary care, rehabilitation centers, or specialized paediatric healthcare facilities

- Proficiency in developing Individualized Rehabilitation Plans
- Expertise in Multidisciplinary Care Coordination
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
