Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level orthopedic surgical services specializing in hip and knee conditions.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of orthopedic disorders affecting the hip and knee joints.
• Perform primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgeries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing both surgical and non-surgical approaches.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up care.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical governance activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and international best practices.
• Contribute to departmental development, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities.
• Participate in on-call duties as required by the department.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Completion of a recognized Residency Program in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship, Board Certification, or equivalent Consultant-level qualification in Orthopedic Surgery recognized by UAE healthcare authorities.
• Subspecialty training and extensive experience in Hip and Knee Surgery.
• Proven experience in primary and revision joint replacement procedures.
• Eligibility for licensure in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Strong clinical, surgical, leadership, and communication skills.
