Responsibilities
- Diagnose, assess, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy
- Develop individualized treatment plans for chronic and acute GI conditions
- Manage complex cases involving IBD, GI cancers, liver cirrhosis, pancreatitis, and gastrointestinal bleeding
- Collaborate with Surgeons, Oncologists, Radiologists, and Nutrition Specialists for comprehensive patient care
- Provide consultation for inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology cases
- Educate patients regarding disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research activities
- Mentor junior physicians and contribute to medical education and training
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree
- Specialization in Internal Medicine
- Fellowship / Board Certification / CCT in Gastroenterology
- Proven Consultant level experience in Gastroenterology
- Strong experience in Endoscopy and Advanced GI Procedures
- DOH License / Eligibility or equivalent UAE licensing is an advantage
- Experience in tertiary hospitals or specialized gastroenterology centers

- This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist with advanced expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, hepatology, and complex GI case management to contribute to a high standard tertiary healthcare environment.
Key Skills
- Strong expertise in Gastroenterology and Digestive System Disorders
- Advanced knowledge in Diagnostic & Therapeutic Endoscopy
- Experience in managing Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Liver Diseases, Pancreatic Disorders, and GI Bleeding
- Proficiency in performing Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and advanced GI procedures
- Strong clinical experience in Hepatology, GERD, Peptic Ulcer Disease, and Functional GI Disorders
- Ability to provide evidence based treatment and long term patient management
