Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures in accordance with approved clinical privileges.
• Assess and manage trauma cases, fractures, sports injuries, and degenerative joint disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practices.
• Provide expert consultation and guidance on complex orthopedic cases.
• Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to comprehensive patient care planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives, clinical audits, research, and continuing medical education activities.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical governance standards, and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized Postgraduate Qualification and Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Eligibility for Consultant-level classification according to DOH Abu Dhabi standards.
• Valid DOH License, Eligibility Letter, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Abu Dhabi.
• Significant consultant-level experience in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Proven expertise in orthopedic surgical procedures and complex case management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and patient management skills.
