Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management of adult and/or pediatric cardiothoracic conditions
- Perform advanced cardiothoracic surgical procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic surgery, thoracic procedures, and minimally invasive procedures
- Conduct pre operative assessments, develop surgical plans, and provide post operative care
- Manage surgical complications and provide appropriate follow up care
- Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary cardiac teams
- Participate in cardiac MDT meetings and contribute to complex case discussions
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, infection prevention, surgical safety standards, and hospital protocols
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and operative records
- Participate in clinical audits, research activities, quality improvement programs, and CME
- Mentor and train junior surgeons and surgical teams where applicable
Requirements
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery (Fellowship/Board Certification or equivalent)
- Minimum 5–10 years of post specialization experience at Consultant level
- Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH) – Abu Dhabi Consultant license
- Extensive experience in complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Strong expertise in perioperative management and critical care of cardiothoracic patients

Job Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- The successful candidate will provide advanced surgical care for patients with cardiac and thoracic conditions, performing complex procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

- UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong track record of clinical excellence and surgical outcomes.
