About the Role
OilExec International seeks a Construction Supervisor for upstream oil and gas projects in Doha. The role involves overseeing piping and civil/structural construction works, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Oversee timely and effective execution of piping / plant modification work within Upstream projects
- Plan and coordinate activities and resources at construction site for piping civil/structural works
- Estimate man hour requirements, plan work schedules, assign and direct subordinates
- Interface and coordinate with main/primary contractors on construction site activities
- Review civil/structural problems and resolve issues with Civil Engineer
- Prepare and review construction documentation including method statements and risk mitigation procedures
- Monitor quality and performance (QA/QC) of contractors/subcontractors
- Participate in Site Progress Meetings with contractors
- Support Lead Project Engineer in coordinating with stakeholders and preparing progress updates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Piping – Civil) from a recognized institution
- 8+ years’ relevant work experience in piping / civil engineering in a large manufacturing facility in Oil & Gas sector
- Additional technical or management qualifications related to onshore construction/piping preferred

Responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate activities and resources at the construction site for piping civil/structural construction/modification works.
- Undertake initiatives to estimate man hour requirements, plan work schedules, assign and direct subordinates.
- Interface and coordinate closely with main/primary contractors on construction site activities.
- Review list of civil/structural problems and resolve with Civil Engineer.
- Prepare and review construction related documentation including method statements, work instructions, material approval requests, and risk mitigation procedures.
- Provide input into construction completion dossiers and monitor QA/QC of contractors.
- Participate in regular Site Progress Meetings with contractors.
- Support Lead Project Engineer in coordinating with stakeholders and preparing updates.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Piping – Civil) from a recognized institution.
- Additional technical or management qualifications related to onshore construction/piping would be an advantage.
- 8 plus years’ relevant work experience in piping / civil engineering in a similar large manufacturing facility in the Oil & Gas sector.
