Overview
- Lead and manage the construction supervision team on site for buildings, utilities, infrastructure, and public realm works.
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project quality and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with the Contractor, Client, Design Team, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and coordination issues.
- Review and comment on technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.
- Monitor progress against the approved construction programme; identify delays and propose mitigation measures.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with HSE regulations and project safety plans; participate in safety walks and audits.
- Manage site inspections, approvals, and handover procedures.
- Review and verify contractors monthly progress reports, measurements, and invoices.
- Participate in progress meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Support in managing change orders, claims, and variations from a site perspective.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record-keeping of all site activities.
- Assist the Project Manager in overall project delivery and in maintaining good client relationships.
