About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage all construction activities and work performed by the Contractor at field management level
- Ensure Contractor’s HSE practices are acceptable and adequate measures are implemented
- Ensure engineering and procurement progress is satisfactory and coordinate with other supervision team members
- Ensure planning is compatible with project objectives and progress is in line with the plan
- Monitor work performed to ensure compliance with Contract specifications
- Assess sub contractor’s performance in terms of safety, quality and efficiency
- Focus on early identification of potential problems and propose appropriate solutions
- Issue Site instruction to Contractor when required and record facts related to potential or issued Variation Order Requests
- Report progress to the Project Management Team
- Comply with DEL’s policies and procedures in all areas impacting the business
- Adhere to legislative requirements and maintain highest ethical standards
- Support the rest of the team and propose alternative courses of action
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (4 yrs.) preferably in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil/gas green field and brown field projects
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience at a senior supervisory role
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Good managerial skills in a diverse workforce setting

Responsibilities

Educational Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (4 yrs.) preferably in mechanical engineering or equivalent or other relevant subjects.
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil/gas green field and brown field projects.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience at a senior supervisory role.
Skills and Competencies
