Role overview

KBR is seeking a Construction Manager based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role supports construction delivery within KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions.

Required experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • At least 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Construction Manager on oil and gas projects is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager in Middle Eastern countries is required.
  • Experience as an SMP Construction Manager or Deputy Construction Manager is required.
  • Experience installing feed gas compressors to achieve required operating pressure is required.
  • Experience on brownfield projects is required.
  • Strong leadership capability for managing direct and indirect site manpower is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.

Preferred qualifications

  • ADNOC experience is preferred.
  • Experience with a global EPC contractor or subcontractor is preferred.

Anticipated responsibilities

  • Manage construction activities and site manpower for oil and gas projects.
  • Lead or oversee feed gas compressor installation and delivery to planned operating parameters.
  • Deliver planned construction progress in brownfield project environments.

Work location

  • The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE and involves site-based construction management.
