Responsibilities
- Develop and implement construction project plans aligned with business objectives and client requirements
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and project closeout
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and cost control activities
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery
- Monitor construction quality, site safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to engineering specifications
- Conduct site inspections, progress reviews, and risk assessments to identify and resolve project issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, contractual obligations, and company policies
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, design, finance, and operations teams to support successful project execution
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, forecasts, and recommendations for senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction efficiency, quality, and project performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, LEED, OSHA, or equivalent are advantageous
- 7+ years of experience in construction management, project management, civil engineering, or related roles
- 3+ years of experience managing commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, contract administration, budgeting, and cost management
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations, quality management systems, and applicable building codes
- Experience with project management software, scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project), and construction management platforms
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple construction projects and priorities effectively
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating project teams and site operations
