Construction helpers/Unindentured Apprentice

T ri-City Group is seeking Electrical Helpers or “Unindentured Apprentices” for openings in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Performing material handling on the job site
• Installing and bending conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders
• Perform wire and cable pulls

• Previous experience in the construction or electrical industry is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with electrical tools and machinery
• Reliable transportation to get to the construction site and from job to job
• Regular attendance, timeliness when given tasks, and arrival to work on time - Required
• Ability to follow safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and wear PPE (Safety gear) on site
• Desire to learn in a hands-on environment with an awareness of other job site activities
• Attention to detail, and ability to follow instruction

All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen, and reference check.

Applicants will need to supply their own steel/composite-toed shoes.
