Lead all MEP coordination efforts across multiple multi-family projects, ensuring seamless integration of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Serve as the primary liaison between the design team, construction management, and field trades to resolve complex technical issues.
Oversee preconstruction MEP design reviews, constructability assessments, and value engineering recommendations.

Evaluate field conditions, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely issue resolution.
Oversee preparation of accurate as-built documentation and final turnover packages.
Support Construction Managers with MEP scope development, bid evaluations, and subcontractor selection.
Track MEP-related costs, budgets, and change orders; provide forecasts and variance reports.
Develop and maintain project documentation including schedules, logs, and progress reports.
Ensure all MEP systems meet company and client performance standards, sustainability goals, and design criteria.
Lead enforcement of QA/QC standards for all MEP work.
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations, and company safety policies.
Participate in jobsite safety walks and promote a culture of safety within project teams and subcontractors.
Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to Construction Engineer I and II team members.
Support the professional development of junior engineers by reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of company MEP standards, templates, and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering, or a related discipline (required).
6–10 years of experience in construction engineering or MEP design and coordination for multi-family or commercial projects.
Proven experience managing field coordination and subcontractors for MEP installations.
Design-build or developer-led project experience strongly preferred.
