- Review and approve construction plans, method statements, and work programs

- Ensure full compliance with HSE policies and procedures
- Oversee contract administration in coordination with commercial and contracts teams
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and client
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a collaborative work culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 15 20 years of experience in construction management
- At least 5 7 years in a senior leadership role (Construction Director, Project Director, or similar)
- Proven experience delivering large scale infrastructure, public realm, or urban development projects
- Strong background in managing complex, multi stakeholder projects
- Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices
- Strong understanding of contract conditions (e.g., FIDIC) and commercial implications
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Construction Director to join the site team on the Diriyah Boulevard & Public Realm Project.
- This landmark project forms part of Diriyah Gate Phase 2 and includes parks, open spaces, public realm areas, and streetscape works.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, manage, and oversee all construction activities for the Diriyah Boulevard & Public Realm Project.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the site construction teams and supervision staff.
- Ensure construction works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with client, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical and construction issues.
- Review and approve construction plans, method statements, and work programs.
- Monitor progress, identify risks and delays, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Oversee contract administration in coordination with commercial and contracts teams.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and key metrics to senior management and the client.
- Support change management, claims avoidance/mitigation, and dispute resolution.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a collaborative and high‑performance work culture.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 15–20 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale infrastructure, public realm, urban development, or mixed‑use projects, preferably in the Middle East.
- Strong background in managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects with significant streetscape, landscaping, and public realm components.
- Demonstrated track record of managing contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary site teams.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of contract conditions (e.g., FIDIC) and commercial implications.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High commitment to HSE standards and quality assurance/quality control processes.
